11/01/2024: REAP is organizing 1st Pakistan Rice Technical Training Course started from Today at REAP House, Karachi. The course will cover "Sampling, Visual Analysis and Identification of Pakistan Rice Grains" (Reference: ISO-7301 and Pakistan Standards for rice). The training has been conducted under the guidance of Ms. Yasmin Ismail, MC Member REAP, Syed Hamid Raza, and Mr. Mustafa Saifuddin, all of them having a vast experience in Product Knowledge, Quality Control, Food Safety Audits Collateral Management, Supply Chain, ISO Standards and Rice Analysis. This course will provide hands-on "Technical Training" in overall Quality Control and Visual Analysis Processes, empowering participants with expertise and comprehensive product knowledge of rice. It will ensure better controls and facilitate prompt corrective actions by the technical field staff. The Training session is being attended by REAP Members and their Staff. This Course will be one of its kind which will help these professionals to understand Rice Standards, Milling Processes, Broken Sizes, Grading etc.
