19/10/2023: A Zoom Meeting has been arranged by Ministry of Commerce, chaired by Federal Secretary Commerce Today to discuss Updates on MEP Implementation of Rice and Potential reasons for Discrepancies in Pakistan-Iran Trade Data. The said meeting was attended by Mr. Chela Ram Kewlani, Chairman REAP, Mr. Haseeb Ali Khan, Senior Vice Chairman REAP, Ch. Muhammad Shafique, Ex-Chairman REAP, MC Members of REAP, Ch. Samee Ullah Nameem, Mr. Muhammad Noman, Mian Ahmed Akbar, Deepak Kumar Advani and Mr. Salman Paracha. Honorable Secretary Commerce listened to the issues being faced by rice export trade and assured full support of MINCOM Team to resolve the same at the earliest possible.
