17/03/2023 – REAP Delegation under the leadership of Mr. Chela Ram Kewlani, Chairman REAP had meeting with Mr. Jameel Ahmad, Honorable Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). During the meeting, MC Members REAP, Mr. Asif Ali Shaikh, Mian Ahmed Akbar, Mr. Fuad Hamid Garib, Mr. Muhammad Noman, Ex-Chairman REAP, Mr. Safder Hussain Mehkri, Ex-Senior Vice Chairman, REAP Mr. Muhammad Raza, Member REAP, Mr. Waleed Ahmed are also present in the meeting. From SBP side, Mr. Asif Ali, Director Exchange Policy Department and Dr. Mian Farooq Haq, Director Infrastructure & SME Department were also present. Mr. Chela Ram Kewlani and REAP Representatives apprised Honorable Governor SBP about various issues related to rice exports and current economic situation of Pakistan has been discussed. Mr. Jameel Ahmad, Hon. Governor SBP listened to all the issues and their possible solutions and assured his full support from SBP to resolve the same. With the vote of thanks, Mr. Chela Ram Kewlani presented REAP’s Shied and REAP’s Diary to Hon. Governor State Bank of Pakistan.
