14/03/2023 - Pakistan Basmati Heritage Foundation has organized Awareness Seminar on Pesticides Residue for Growers of rice. Mr. Chela Ram Kewlani, Chairman REAP has attended the Seminar as “Chief Guest”. Mr. Haseeb Ali Khan, Senior Vice Chairman REAP, Ch. Samee Ullah, Mr. Ali Narang and Mr. Usama Shafiq were also present along with Chairman REAP. Purpose of the Seminar was to provide awareness to Farmers regarding certificated rice seeds as well as appropriate use of Pesticides. Chairman REAP emphasized the farmers use of certified rice seed and appropriate Pesticides for rice to maintain the quality of Pakistani rice in international markets. In the end, Dr. AnjumDirector General Agriculture, Government of Punjab and Mr. Adnan Shaikh presented Shield to Mr. Chela Ram Kewlani, Chairman REAP.
